The STR-DN850 7.2-Channel Wi-Fi Network AV Receiver from Sony offers powerful sound and multiple connectivity options. This receiver features 7.2-channel speaker output and delivers up to 150W per channel for robust audio playback. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with NFC connectivity allows you to wirelessly connect to audio sources such as computers, smartphones and tablets. An Ethernet port is also available for wired high-speed Internet connections. AirPlay technology is also on-board for streaming music from compatible devices like iPods and iPhones. You can also connect audio sources to the receiver’s front panel USB port.
The Sony STR-DN850 is well-equipped for video connections with five HDMI inputs. In addition to HDMI and 4K video pass-through, you can upscale lower resolution video sources to near-4K quality. For enhanced system control, you can download the free SongPal app to control the receiver from your mobile device. The integrated graphical user interface allows you intuitively navigate the receiver’s menu system. Built-in high-resolution audio support allows you to take advantage of dynamic surround sound formats like DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD.
